I’m Dana, married to an amazing man and mother of two adorable children (one boy and one girl).
I have always had a passion for health and wellness and received my BS in Kinesiology from Wheaton College in 2001 and my MA in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. I am a runner, musician, lover of God, and health coach. My desire is to help others transform their lives and be in a healthier place. I believe we shouldn’t just try to survive in life, but actually thrive.
I started removing toxic chemicals from my house and defining healthy in different terms starting in March 2014. From growing an organic garden to using chemical-free cleaning and personal products (I even made my own deodorant and hair gel!), I transformed my life on the inside and out.
However, that November, I looked fine on the outside, but I felt gross on the inside. I was tired all the time and craved sugar and salt.
